Installing the PID Research Service
You need to be using Microsoft Office 2003 (or
higher) in order to use the Research Service functionality. This
functionality is available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This
is a very simple process to perform and nothing is installed on your
system. You are adding a pointer to a web service. If you are having any
problems performing these steps do not hesitate to contact us.
Instructions follow, refer the the section
following the installation instructions for a brief tutorial on "How to
Use the PID Research Service".

1. Show the Research Pane
From the View menu select "Task Pane" and then
select "Research", as shown.
2. Click on "Research options..." |

3. Click on the "Add Services"
button. |

4. On the Add Services window
enter the following address, make sure you enter it exactly as
indicated.

5. There will be a series of
screens that culminate in a success message. |
Using the PID Research Service

Using the PID Research Service is
rather straight-forward. Whenever you want to return to the
opening screen type in "help". From this screen you will be
presented with hypertext links that guide you to the possible
inquiries. |
